Ha puesto en escena grandes espectáculos de repertorio universal como Mamma Mia!, La Bella y la Bestia, de Disney; Jesucristo Superestrella; Avenida Q y La Novicia Rebelde, y reconocidos espectáculos originales como Cartas a Papá Noel, Ella es Colombia y Simplemente Navidad. Hoy, la Universidad del Rosario, tiene como uno de sus grandes objetivos desarrollar el teatro musical como forma artística en Bogotá y los diferentes rincones de nuestro país.

Sister Act
Esta comedia musical para toda la familia, basada en la icónica película Cambio de hábito de 1992 protagonizada por Whoopi Goldberg, ha recorrido el mundo y llega por primera vez a Bogotá. Con música original del ganador de ocho premios Óscar y del Tony, Alan Menken (La Bella y la Bestia, La Sirenita, Aladdín), la historia sigue a Deloris Van Cartier, una diva del disco que es testigo de un asesinato cometido por su amante, Curtis Jackson. Para protegerla, el oficial Souther la pone bajo custodia en el único lugar donde está seguro de que Curtis no la encontrará: ¡un convento!
Adaptarse a este nuevo entorno no será fácil para Deloris, especialmente con los obstáculos impuestos por la estricta Madre Superiora. Sin embargo, en ese lugar encontrará a nuevas hermanas del corazón que, a través de la música, se convertirán en su verdadera familia. Un musical lleno de música disco, baile y una emotiva historia que nos recuerda que, al final, todos estamos unidos por el mismo motor: el amor.
