Gracias a su clima y a su ubicación privilegiada, que generan un aire estable y seco, Chile es uno de los mejores lugares del mundo para observar el universo. De hecho, el 70 % de la capacidad colectora óptica e infrarroja del mundo se encuentra en este país.
En esta película en formato fulldome, nos transportaremos a tres observatorios de clase mundial, ubicados en las escarpadas montañas de los Andes y en el árido desierto de Atacama; regiones remotas y extremas que ofrecen las condiciones perfectas para la investigación astronómica. El recorrido lo harán astrónomos, ingenieros, técnicos y personal de apoyo que mantienen en funcionamiento estas megamáquinas.
