El clásico de la literatura colombiana y latinoamericana, escrito por José Eustasio Rivera, que cumplió 100 años de publicado, tiene múltiples formas de interpretación, por no decir todas las posibles formas de interpretación. Por eso, el creador y su grupo decidieron que mientras transcurre la obra hay una pareja de académicos que discute sobre su posición frente a la novela; sobre si es una pieza histórica, política, de poesía pura, de denuncia o una prueba documental. Hay una historia central de lo que pasa con Arturo Cova, Alicia, Zorayda, Griselda, Barrera, el Indio. Todas las relaciones de poder, explotación, extractivismo y amor se dan alrededor de una producción cauchera engañosa, cruel y dispuesta a todo con tal de sacar provecho económico. Apartir de la frase ‘se los tragó la selva’, durante el proceso de montaje los teatristas se preguntaron ¿qué fue lo que se tragó la selva? El reparto está integrado por Marcela Valencia, Julián Román, Liliana Escobar, Alejandra Chamorro, Lucho Velasco y Juan Diego Marín.
